Together we’ll shape a better tomorrow.
Aimed at engineering and science graduates, our 16-month Graduate Programme will build your knowledge of all parts of our Generation and Nuclear New Build business. It includes support and training to take care of every aspect of your technical and personal development.
About our Science & Engineering Graduate Programmes:
The schemes give you an overview of our Central Technical Organisation, Station Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Technical & Safety functions. Undertaking six intensive placements, in a minimum of three different locations, provides the foundation you need to build your future career in nuclear power.
Working in various UK power stations as well as our Central Technical Organisation in Gloucestershire, you’ll learn from some of the world’s leading nuclear power specialists. You’ll also begin your journey towards Chartered status with a relevant professional institution. It’s a mark of the quality of our programme that eight leading industry associations have given it their accreditation.
Once you get to know our business you can choose which area you would like to specialise in. You’ll have plenty of help making that decision, in the shape of a mentor who will support you throughout the scheme.
We offer a starting salary of £27,500, a £2,000 relocation lump sum and generous holiday, pension and benefits.
You’ll hold at least a 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree in a relevant or associated subject. We offer opportunities for graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Material Science & Metallurgy, Maths, Environmental Science, Physics and Health Physics.
